FAQ

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is a place where coders, designers, and anyone with an idea can come and make their ideas a reality. More information on hackathons can be found here!

What if I don't have a team?

Don't worry about it! We will have a team formation session on site as well as a Slack channel where you can form teams before the event.

Who can attend?

Anyone enrolled in high school at the time of the event can attend. If you are over or under the age limit, feel free to reach out to us and we may be able to arrange something.

Where is the schedule?

At the moment, the exact schedule is not finalized yet, but we know that check in will be at 10:00 AM on March 3rd and the event will end at 12:00 PM on March 4th. Be sure to check back closer to the event date.

How much does this cost?

Completely free! Just bring yourself, a laptop, chargers, power strips, anything you might want to use in your hack, and of course, friends!

What if I want to mentor?

That's wonderful! Mentor registration hasn't officially opened yet, but if you shoot us an email at team.edgehacks@gmail.com we can keep your name down and notify you when registration opens.

How large can teams be?

Teams can be from one to four people. We highly encourage that you work as a team, since it is a great way to meet new people and learn from others.
